Senior Coordinator, Professional Learning & Evaluation Quality
Custom Job Purpose
This position exists to lead the district’s work to ensure employee evaluations are implemented consistently, fairly, and with integrity. The Senior Coordinator supports evaluators through targeted professional learning, calibration, and quality assurance efforts that strengthen evaluation practices and promote meaningful professional growth.
Essential Functions of this Job
• Designs, develops, and delivers professional learning related to employee evaluation systems, expectations, and processes.
• Leads evaluator calibration activities that strengthen consistency and reduce variability in evaluation decisions across schools and departments.
• Provides coaching, technical assistance, and guidance to evaluators regarding effective evaluation practices and Journey system use.
• Collaborates on the development, revision, and dissemination of evaluation manuals, guidance documents, timelines, and training materials.
• Analyzes evaluation data to identify trends, implementation gaps, and professional learning needs.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training for evaluators related to Journey and associated HR systems.
• Works collaboratively with district departments to align evaluation practices with professional learning, accountability, and workforce development goals.
Serves on TEAC, and other district committees related to evaluation, professional learning, or continuous improvement.
• Supports special projects related to evaluation system enhancements or process improvements.

Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience in analysis related to program evaluation preferred.
• Knowledge of state evaluation requirements and measures preferred.
• Exemplary teaching experience and documentation of successful adult training experience are required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of adult learning theory and applies it to the design of effective, engaging professional learning experiences.
• Knowledge of employee evaluation frameworks and quality assurance processes.
• Skill in facilitation, coaching, and delivering professional learning to diverse audiences.
• Ability to analyze evaluation data and translate findings into actionable learning supports.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across departments and stakeholder groups.
Work Context
Requires some sitting and standing, walking and moving about to coordinate work. Requires the use of alternative communication systems, such as electronic mail, telephones and computers. Requires coordination of work tasks to establish priorities, set goals and meet deadlines. Requires face-to-face discussions and contact with individuals and/or teams. Requires work with internal and external contacts, and with the public.
Physical Environment
Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Requires sitting, standing, moving about, and the ability to lift, carry, move and/or position objects frequently weighing up to 20 pounds and infrequently weighing more than 20 pounds.
